Premier Community HealthCare, a nonprofit health center, is the sole Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving Pasco and Hernando counties in Florida which has allowed the organization to successfully improve the health of medically underserved populations.

Vistra was engaged to address specific challenges related to brand awareness and perception. These issues impacted funding, patient volume and the productivity of providers and staff. Our approach began with a research study that encompassed stakeholder interviews, community conversations and extensive surveys.

We conducted a thorough communications audit and engaged in strategy sessions with the leadership team. The outcome was the development of a comprehensive marketing and communications plan, featuring strategic positioning and a new overarching campaign.

This multifaceted plan included a range of supporting tactics, such as updated branding, collateral materials, messaging refinement, key issue talking points, media relations efforts, website development, video creation, community outreach, partnership coordination, coordinating leadership speaking, hosting events, social media initiatives, monitoring and metrics tracking. Additionally, digital, print and broadcast advertising were strategically integrated.

These initiatives collectively yielded substantial improvements in both brand awareness and perception, while simultaneously enhancing staff productivity. As a result, Premier Community HealthCare has thrived and continues to serve the community with unwavering dedication and impact.
