Current Initiatives is a Florida-based 501©3 organization committed to mobilizing communities to be Hope Dealers through the Laundry Project, Hope for Homes Project and Affordable Christmas initiative.
Laundry Project
Since 2008, Vistra has supported Current Initiatives’ Laundry Project with pro bono strategic communications services. The Vistra team has developed branded messaging and pitched and secured media coverage across the country.
The Laundry Project helps restore dignity and bring hope to low-income families by meeting a basic need – washing clothes and linens. Laundry fees are paid for while team members assist with laundry services, entertain children and create a caring space at the laundromat.
