
Stephen Connors
DIRECTOR OF SURVEYS AND RESEARCH METHODS
Stephen is an accomplished research professional with over 20 years of research and managerial experience with strong expertise in all aspects of quantitative, qualitative and evaluative research, particularly customer satisfaction and media audience measurement and analysis. Stephen has successfully designed and managed a broad range of research initiatives, with project management and research implementation experience both domestically and internationally in countries all over the world. In his current Vistra role, he oversees a multi-year research Veterans Affairs (VA) contract to collect feedback from Veterans’ families and funeral directors on how well burial and memorial services and products meet their needs and expectations, as well as a VA study on matters related to locating and providing appropriate honors for the interment of unclaimed remains of Veterans in national cemeteries.
Prior to joining Vistra, Stephen was a Senior Research Manager at Ipsos Public Affairs, where he managed projects for ExxonMobil, The Pew Charitable Trusts, The U.S. Peace Corps and The U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors, among others. Prior to Ipsos, Stephen worked for InterMedia Survey, where he managed and oversaw two five-year $50 million+ U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors-funded contracts which provided audience research and strategic consulting services in more than 60 countries for all U.S. international radio, television, and Internet broadcasters.
Stephen holds a M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and German from The University of Virginia (Phi Beta Kappa).
