PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST
Erica has spent twenty years leading strategic communications campaigns to drive awareness, education, and engagement. These campaigns have leveraged digital, print, and media practices and have included everything from award submissions and wins (including one for DOT) to national social media campaigns to media breakfasts at the National Press Club. She particularly enjoys taking strategy to structure and promoting individual, team, and organizational successes. Prior to Vistra, Erica spent five years as the Director of Marketing and Communications for a Virginia nonprofit agency with federal, state and local contracts as well as served as the Director of Marketing and Director of Business Development for a defense, aviation and satellite publishing company. She began her career in the Federal lobbying practice of Kelley Drye & Warren after having interned in Congress. In her free time, she volunteers with the Horse Mounted Unit of the U.S. Park Police in Washington, D.C., and serves on the Board of the Dulles Foundation Club. She graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, international relations and a minor in business. She is a D.C. native and currently lives in Middleburg, Virginia.
